Keeping your internet safe and secure at home

Broadband Internet

Most of the major Internet Service Providers now provide an internet filtering option with your internet connection.
This filtering applies to any device that uses your internet connection, either wired or wireless.
For each provider enabling the filtering is slightly different, but they do provide information on their website on how to do this.

Below are the help pages from the major ISPs;

and individually a free installable filtering application for Mac and PC: http://www1.k9webprotection.com/

Mobile Devices

For Mobile devices that use 3G/4G Mobile Internet connections most Service Providers do also have internet filter options available for PAYG and Contract customers.
Most are enabled by default and require over-18 proof before they will turn off the internet filter.
To check your setting you can either phone customer services or login to your online account management page.
